In an Instagram post uploaded on June 10, 2025, American podcaster and comedian Zack Peter pointed out that Blake Lively never filed any HR complaints against It Ends with Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni during the film's production.
In the video, Peter replied to The Millionaire Matchmaker producer, Patti Stanger, who made a comment claiming that many people from the set of the 2024 film filed complaints against Justin Baldoni.
Reviewing Stanger's comment, Zack Peter remarked:
"Hey, Patti Stanger, if you have any actual evidence of this, please, please share. Please enlighten us, because Sony has already gone on record and claimed that there were no formal HR complaints from Blake Lively during production of It Ends with Us."
Peter's comment stems from a previous statement made by Sony Pictures Entertainment. As per a Variety article published on December 31, 2024, Sony had confirmed that no HR complaints had been filed against Baldoni during the production of the film.
Meanwhile, months before in August 2024, Sony, the co-financer and distributor of It Ends with Us, released a statement of support for Blake Lively to The Hollywood Reporter. In the statement, Sony Pictures Entertainment Chairperson Tony Vinciquerra praised Lively's "passion and commitment" to promoting discussions about domestic violence through the film.
"Blake, Colleen and so many women put so much effort into this remarkable movie, working selflessly from the start to ensure that such an important subject matter was handled with care," the statement read.
Chairperson Tony further added:
"Blake’s passion and commitment to advancing the conversation around domestic violence is commendable. We love working with Blake, and we want to do 12 more movies with her."
More about Zack Peter's remarks on the absence of Blake Lively's HR complaint

In his latest video, Zack Peter further mentioned that Baldoni's Wayfarer Studios had been clear that the only HR complaint they received was related to "ageism," which was then brought forward by them.
Peter also argued that Lively had not filed any HR complaints, either directly or through SAG-AFTRA (an American union for film and TV performers).
"She didn't have SAG do an investigation. She could have had the California Civil Rights Department, where she filed her CRD complaint, she could have had them do an investigation as they offered, but she declined to have them investigate that. So, no Wayfarer investigation, no SAG investigation, no CRD investigation," Peter said.
The host of the No Filter podcast further stated that the Gossip Girl alum is reportedly not cooperating in an ongoing independent investigation related to her legal conflict with Justin Baldoni.
"Now, there's currently a third-party independent investigation happening right now into her claims that she's refusing to participate in and refusing to give any names of witnesses that could corroborate her story," Zack remarked.
He then concluded by calling out Patti, stating that he would "love" to see any evidence supporting the claims against Justin Baldoni.
"So, again, if you have any evidence, I would love to see it, because you seem pretty confident, okay? That's all, thanks."
For the unversed, on December 20, 2024, the Another Simple Favor star filed an 80-page complaint with the California Civil Rights Department against Justin Baldoni, film producer Jamie Heath, Wayfarer Studios, and its co-founder Steve Sarowitz for sexual harrasment and plotting a smear campaign to "destroy her reputation," as reported by Deadline on June 9, 2025..
In response, on January 16, 2025, Baldoni filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist Leslie Sloane for defamation, civil extortion, and invasion of privacy.
With new developments in the case, the co-stars are set to face each other in court in March 2026.
