Deal or No Deal Island season 2 - Meet the host

Deal or No Deal Island will return for a season 2 in 2025. A new batch of contestants would be transported to the Banker's private island. Over 100 cases with millions of dollars split between them would be hidden across the island. The teams must find them to play the game of Deal or No Deal against the Banker.

Joe Manganiello will resume his role as the host of Deal or No Deal Island. He will guide the viewers as the teams compete to beat the Banker for possibly the biggest prize in Deal or No Deal history, according to NBC.

Joe Manganiello is an American actor, producer, director, and fitness author. He is popularly known for his role as Flash Thompson in Spider-Man, werewolf Alcide Herveaux in True Blood, and Big Dick Richie in Magic Mike.

Manganiello decided to pursue acting and joined the University of Pittsburgh and then Carnegie Mellon's School of Drama to graduate with a BFA in Acting in 2000. He started his acting career with the role of Flash Thompson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man (2002).

Joe Manganiello was excited when he was offered the hosting role on the game show. In his interview with People, published on February 26, 2024, Manganiello revealed that joining Deal or No Deal Island was the "right opportunity" he'd been waiting for. He added:

“I was asked to be on Survivor at one point. I was offered Fear Factor — not the original, but after Rogan stepped aside, I was offered the next incarnation. So they pitched me the show, [Deal or No Deal Island]. I was like, you have no idea who you're talking to. I'm a big fan of game shows. One of the huge draws is to see how people interact with each other.”

While working on the game show, the actor shared that he drew inspiration from the original Deal or No Deal host Howie Mandel. In one of the promos for the NBC show, Howie Mandel handed Joe Manganiello a briefcase, symbolically passing the torch for his hosting duties.
