Lewis’ brother, Elijah Inegbedion, expressed his grief through Facebook on Tuesday, June 3. Elijah added two photos of his sister, saying that he does not have the words to describe the loss that he had suffered.
He further stated:
“You left behind a legacy most individuals can only dream of. Thank you for loving me the way you did and always having my back no matter what. God blessed me when he made me your baby brother and for that I am eternally thankful. You are forever on my mind and in my heart. I love you!”
Elijah did not disclose Khadiyah Lewis’ cause of death. The television personality’s family members addressed the same while speaking to The Shade Room and added:
“What we would like to do at this time is to offer the many people whose lives she touched an opportunity to celebrate her life through a zoom Memorial Service on Saturday, June 14th, 2025.”

Brooks requested everyone to pray for Lewis’ family members alongside all those who were close to her, and added:
