“My emotions are so high”— Love Island USA star Huda apologizes to Amaya for getting mad at her for kissing Jeremiah

Love Island USA season 7 has reached episode 6, which aired on June 8. It documented life in the villa after a one-day hiatus from episode 5, which was reserved for Aftersun. In episode 4, two new bombshells entered the villa and participated in a fun challenge that involved kissing some islanders.

Amaya, one of the new bombshells, kissed Jeremiah, who was coupled with Huda. This upset Huda, and she became angry with Amaya for kissing him, knowing he was happily paired with someone else. Amaya didn't think of it seriously because she was doing what she came there to do—to have fun and explore. In episode 6, Huda apologized to Amaya for her rash behavior the other night, saying,

"My emotions are so high in, I definitely act out of emotion, which I don't typically do."

Amaya accepted her apology and encouraged her not to feel bad about her words. She also chatted with Jeremiah and understood that he truly just wanted to be with Huda, so she happily scooted out.

Huda apologized to Amaya on Love Island USA season 7 episode 6

While chatting with Huda, Amaya revealed that Jeremiah had told her how serious he was about Huda. Chelley, Cierra, and Hannah sat with them during the conversation. Upon hearing what Jeremiah told Amaya about her, Huda apologized to Amaya, while Hannah and Amaya encouraged her not to feel sorry.

Huda explained to them how deeply her emotions affected her and that her words were a reaction to those feelings. She also stated that it was not something she usually did.

"In my head I was like, damn, I can't get mad at this challenge," she further said.

She mentioned that once she got to know the new bombshells, she realized she was "overreacting."

Earlier in the Love Island USA episode, Huda spoke to Jeremiah about the entire situation. She mentioned how she didn't like it when the boys were hyping Jeremiah while he was speaking to Amaya privately. Huda told him that she saw how he wasn't trying to kiss Amaya back during the challenge.

"I could tell you were trying to make it look like it, but you weren't actually... I could see your mouth," she added.

She called Amaya a "b*tch" and believed that she was trying to kiss him hard. Sharing his thoughts, Jeremiah said he had the "craziest" kiss with Amaya. He added that he was kissing her back, but he wasn't going all in for it because he "really liked" Huda.

Huda then told him that Amaya was going to pull him in for a chat again, despite people telling her that Jeremiah was happy with Huda. She said that Amaya just didn't "give a sh*t," but it made her realize how much she liked Jeremiah.

What Amaya had to say about kissing Jeremiah in Love Island USA season 7 episode 4

When the ladies gathered around after the Love Island USA challenge, which required them to kiss other people, Hannah clarified that every guy except Jeremiah was open to an adventure. She further mentioned that it seemed as if he were married to Huda. The latter agreed and stated that everyone called them mom and dad.

The ladies agreed and believed that Jeremiah was "obsessed." Hearing these views, Amaya noted that he was a grown man with a voice; if he wanted her to stay away, he would have to tell her himself.

In Love Island USA episode 7, Jeremiah told Amaya that he was with Huda at the moment and wanted to refrain from exploring a connection with her. She accepted this and said she didn't want to be involved with someone who didn't want her.
