Love Island USA season 7 star Nicolas, popularly known as Nic, is genuinely taking advantage of the show's format and having a blast exploring multiple connections simultaneously. However, while doing so, he is misleading the women he is interested in and guiding one toward a bitter heartbreak. I wish Nic realizes who he wants to pursue a relationship with instead of tagging both along.
It is no surprise that dynamics shift as soon as a 'bombshell' (newcomer) enters the villa. Sparks fly and interests change, resulting in new connections and heartbreaking betrayals. The same happened in the case of Nic, who formed a connection with 'bombshell' Cierra, leaving his original partner, Belle-A, alone.
It is not an uncommon occurrence on Love Island USA. However, what baffles me is watching Nic backtrack on his actions. In episode 4 of the Peacock show, Nic, who is now coupled up with Cierra, kissed Belle-A, informing her that he was still interested in her. Later in the same episode, he kissed Cierra, reassuring her of his feelings for her.

The ladies were completely unaware of the shift in dynamics, thinking both had strong connections with the male islander. Nic, on the other hand, was torn between the two and struggled to let either of them go. It is difficult to watch two women involuntarily get pitted against one another and get misled by a man simultaneously.
In my opinion, it is high time Nic decides who he wants to pursue and stop taking advantage of the feelings of Cierra and Belle-A. A recoupling ceremony is due in the upcoming episode of Love Island USA, set to air on June 8, which will reveal what Nic truly feels. However, it will leave one of the girls with a broken heart, an outcome Nic led them to.
Love Island USA star Nic says Cierra and Belle-A are at the same level
In one of the segments of episode 4 of Love Island USA season 7, Cierra watches Nic and Belle-A banter with one another and feels uncomfortable. While I understand that the show allows islanders to explore connections even when coupled up, I think there is a limit to everything.
To flirt with an old flame when you have recently coupled up with someone new does not sit right with me, personally. It is heartbreaking to watch Cierra feel underconfident and in competition with another woman, solely because of the indecisiveness of a man.
In one segment, while watching Belle-A and Nic chat, Sierra compared herself to Belle-A, noting that men might find her attractive because she had the lowest number of physical relationships. In contrast, Cierra had the highest of the group. I was saddened to watch Cierra question her life choices and compare herself to another woman for a man's validation.
Had Nic been decisive and stayed in one lane, both islanders would be at peace right now. However, that was not the case, as Nic's poor decision-making skills were affecting the mood of both women.
When Cierra confronted Nic, seeking reassurance, he justified his actions by saying they were at an "early stage." While that may be true, there is a way of dealing with situations rather than tagging two women along. It is surprising that Nic does not realize he is making the ladies feel insecure about themselves and hurting their feelings in the process.
"These two girls are so opposite. I'm still attracted to Belle-A. I'm attracted to Cierra, and it feels confusing again," Nic said in a Love Island USA confessional.
Later in the episode, after playing a game, in which Nic kissed Belle-A and Cierra, besides other women, he sat down with the male islanders to share how he felt. He casually mentioned that initially the odds were in favor of Cierra; however, after he kissed Belle-A, both were at the same level.
The fact that Nic laughed about his indecisiveness and felt it was something worth making fun of is astounding, if you ask me. The Love Island USA star lacks the basic decency to be considerate of the women's feelings and the consequences of his actions.
He made matters worse when he proceeded to kiss Belle-A and Cierra again, on two separate occasions. While speaking to the cameras, Belle-A expressed how confused Nic made her feel, saying:
"I don't know how I feel about him being so quick to flip over. I have just been about him since day one. I don't love that Cierra and I are playing tug-of-war... I love the way he makes me feel. I hate that he makes another girl feel the same way."
In a surprising turn of events, Nic kissed Cierra shortly afterwards, without letting her know that he had a private moment with Belle-A minutes ago.
It is not only disrespectful but also concerning how indecisive Nic is. I absolutely hate how he tags both women along just so he can have the time to decide. The lack of honesty and transparency illustrates that he is not emotionally mature. In my opinion, both Cierra and Belle-A deserve better.
I am eager to see who he chooses in the upcoming Love Island USA recoupling ceremony and what justification he gives for rejecting one over the other, having confirmed that they were on an equal standing.
