TV personality Big Ed, who got famous with the show 90 Day Fiancé, recently opened up with Entertainment Tonight, about his life and weight loss journey. While having the exclusive conversation, Ed also shed light on the aftermath of the split with Liz Woods.

In a recent interview dated May 15, he said—

"I want a southern charm, I want a conservative, you know, conservative Christian woman is who I'm looking for."

The 59-year-old TV personality mentioned that he is now back in Arkansas, which is also his hometown. Big Ed continued by saying that he had also obtained a real estate license and that he would be "selling homes."

The TV star has already had two breakups.

90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed shared in an exclusive interview that has changed since his breakup

Big Ed became a well-known name in the TLC reality TV show which first aired about 10 years ago in 2014. Recently, in a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, Ed revealed his choice of girl whom he would be up for dating. He also opened up about his life after the break-up with Liz.

Referring to his current life in Arkansas, the TVstar said—

"It's home and I got my real estate license, I'm selling homes, I'm having a lot of fun."

He further gave insights into his dating life. In the interview, Big Ed revealed that after dating women who were about 20 years younger than him, he would currently want to be with someone who was his age. He additionally said—

"Right now I'm meeting a lot of fantastic women that are more of my age that work in my same industry and nothing serious."

He eventually shared some details about one of the women whom he was seeing. According to Ed, they would have lunch together every week and also hang out. Ed further said that the woman also introduced him to Remembering Nicholas Foundation, a charity founded in 2020. The TV personality spoke about the foundation and said—

"she introduced me to Rachel, the mom that lost her child at six months and told me her whole story and you have no idea what this person has experienced and so it touched my heart and I'm now part of the foundation."

In the conversation, Ed highlighted the fact that he changed quite a bit after his recent breakup with Liz Woods. According to him, this included checking on his behavior towards women and the way he treated them. He continued saying that he wasn't proud of how things transpired and how he behaved with women. Ed revealed that he had also gone to the therapist.

The 90 Day Fiancé star shared—

"My therapist said, 'Look, your behavior doesn't have to define who you are, but you can also change it,' so I'm really working toward that ... being a better version of who I am."

Big Ed talks about his weight loss journey with ET

In the recent interview, Ed spoke about his weight loss journey too, along with other aspects of his life. He shared that during the process, he was successful in shedding about 19 pounds.

"And I feel better, I really feel better. So mentally, spiritually, physically, you know, I think if I just stay on track, God's going to give me another chance I hope", the TV personality shared.

Ed further talked about his former partner Liz and said that he would wish good luck to her. He shared that a reconciliation has happened between him and his daughter who didn't approve of his relationship with Liz. He shared his gratefulness towards the show.

Talking about the show, he said—

"But I never knew that there was a 90 Day Fiancé, it was kind of an accident. It's a scary thing that I went through and now I'm realizing that I can kind of turn it around and do some good in the world, so that's where I'm at right now."

Big Ed was first seen on season 4 of the show, with his then-girlfriend Rosemarie. The couple, however, eventually ended up breaking up. Ed approached Liz who was from San Diego, after Rose dumped him. The couple reportedly began dating, and their wedding was set to happen in August 2023.

Liz and Big Ed had broken up once before he asked her to marry him. Fans watched the couple split off several times before they canceled the wedding once and for all.
