"It's not about anger": Big Ed explains why he broke up with Liz in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8, episode 6

In 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 episode 6, titled The Itsy Bitsy Liar, fans saw Big Ed and Liz break up for more than the 13th time since they first got together in 2020.

In the episode, Liz explained that they got into an argument in front of Big Ed's family a couple of days ago. The TLC star explained that Ed's sister was at their house and that Ed had made taco pasta for dinner.

She added that the pasta was "way too spicy" for the sister, Riley, and Big Ed told his sister to "stop being a baby." The 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 cast member said she didn't appreciate it and called him out. Liz added that he verbally "attacked" her and called her "crazy."

"So at this point, we're arguing in front of his family."

She later said that after the latest fight, Ed didn't try to talk Liz through it. Liz added that her fiancé didn't like "being pulled into a corner" and didn't like to listen to how he messed up.

Liz further said that since she had no explanation, she believed Ed was getting "cold feet" and that he never wanted to get married. She added that although they said they were the "best" they had "ever been," they still had issues.

In the same episode, Big Ed explained his side of the argument and said that he believed Liz was waiting for him to apologize. He said that it had always been like that. Big Ed said that he would call and apologize, and then they'd move on from the situation. He added that that was how the "last 14 breakups" had been.

In a confessional, he compared their latest break up to the ones that happened before.

"What makes this break up different is that this is not about anger. I'm not angry at Liz. I'm just realizing that we're not meant to be together," he explained.

The 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 cast member said that he was at a different stage in his life and could clearly see that his relationship with Liz was not going to work. Big Ed said that Liz needed to go and live her life and so did he.

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 will return next week with a brand new episode on TLC.
