90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? season 8 duo Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone arrived in Brazil after two years, as seen in an exclusive clip from episode 6, obtained by ET Online. It seems that Carlos, Thais's father, still harbors animosity toward his son-in-law, as seen in the clip.

In the preview, Carlos called Patrick a "little b**tard" after the latter said hi to him on a phone call that his wife made. Patrick and Carlos' long-running rivalry appears to be far from over, as the former struggles to deal with his in-law's name-calling.

Apart from the cold war between Patrick and Carlos, the clip also showcases a little feud between Mendes and Ramone over the former's attempt to drive on Brazilian streets.

Thais and Patrick get into an argument on episode 6 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?

Patrick, Thaís, and their little daughter Aleesi, arrive in Brazil in episode 6, as seen in the clip. The feud between Carlos and Patrick is highlighted in a scene where the latter drives while Thaís holds their daughter and calls her father.

When Patrick chimes in for a quick "hi," Carlos responds, "Hey... little b**tard", which sends the couple into an awkward silence. Thaís then proceeds to tell her father how bad of a driver Patrick is when it comes to driving on the Brazilian streets, which is met by a "he needs to be careful" from the other side.

Thais continues to criticize Patrick's driving as she sits in the backseat, holding their daughter and insisting that the latter doesn't know how to drive in Brazil, as she tells him to stop at a stop sign.

In the confessional, Patrick maintains that he knows how to drive and calls Thaís a "backseat driver." She refuses his claim and says she just wanted to help him.

"I just got to Brazil, and your dad's already calling me names. I don't know why your dad is calling me a little b**tard," Patrick said to Thaís in a confessional.

Fans of 90 Day Fiance season 9 are familiar with the Patrick-Carlos rivalry. It started at the time when Thaís kept her relationship with Patrick a secret from her father because she knew it would be met with disapproval from him. She intended to marry her American beau and move to his country, fearing her dreams would remain unrealized if her father found out.

Carlos didn't approve of their engagement when he finally got to know about it, asking Thaís to come back to Brazil because he didn't trust Patrick's intentions of wanting to be with his daughter. Patrick and Thaís braved through all their familial struggles and got hitched in 2022 on the 90 Day Fiance season 9 Tell All. They welcomed their daughter, Aleesi, in November of the same year.

It's been two years since the family of three returned to Brazil, which got fans curious to see if the relationship between Carlos and Patrick had improved in 90 Day Fiance. But it doesn't seem like Carlos saw Patrick in a positive light, despite the fact that the couple has been together for two years and has a child together.
