Love is Blind: Argentina episode 11, titled The Reunion, premiered on November 27 on Netflix and featured all the couples that got engaged inside the pod.
Santiago and Emily got married at the end of the season and revealed in the reunion episode that they were still together. Chiming on their life after the show, Santiago admitted that living together as a couple was a "crisis" for them and that they needed "a pause" to reconnect. He added that reality was "totally different" from what they felt in an experiment.
Reflecting on their time on the show versus their relationship in the real world, Santiago noted that during the experiment, they were together "24 hours a day."
However, in real life, they had jobs, friends, and other commitments, which required time to determine if their love for each other was genuine. With time they realized that they "were in love."
"I would call it a crisis, a pause. We needed to reconnect. Reality is totally different from what you feel in an experiment. We were together 24 hours a day. In the real world, we have jobs, friends… We needed a pause to say, "Hey, do I miss you? Are we in love?" Time ended up telling us. Our talks, our dynamic, we were in love," Santiago said.
Love is Blind: Argentina stars Santiago and Emily talked about their life together after the show
Santiago and Emily were one of the couples who got engaged after forming a bond inside the pods on Love is Blind: Argentina. Santiago had a dream about Emily's name even before talking to her in the experiment. This acted as a foundation for their relationship and the two became the first couple to get engaged.
While the Love is Blind: Argentina couple had some differences during episode 9 they came to a mutual understanding before their wedding ceremony and got married at the end of the season. The couple returned to the show in the reunion episode and revealed that they were still together and that they were growing stronger in their relationship.
Talking about their relationship, Emily said that they shared an intense bond from the beginning. She described their connection as "magical" and said that they were "crazy intense."
Even though they got angry with each other on the show, they still got along since they loved each other. The Love is Blind: Argentina contestant added that talking about everything made things easy between them.
Santiago shared that when the experiment ended, it was intense and he didn't have a place for them, so they went to his parents' house.
"The first month it was Emily and me with Mom and Dad. It was nice to be together, but it was all very intense. Sometimes we need to let it soak in, after the experiment, we showed up at Mom and Dad's house," he added.
Emily chimed that they left "dizzy from the experiment" and were overflowing with a lot of questions and were wondering if they wanted to go somewhere. They were "drowning" with thoughts, however, after pausing for a moment they decided to take it easy.
"I decided to spend a few days with my parents, spend a few days with him. Mainly to see if we missed each other. Were we really in love the way it seemed? Or was it just our intensity? Were we just flying through life? But we really did miss each other, we're so in love," the contestant added.
