The pool of contestants on The GOAT got even smaller, with the Prime Video show reaching episode 4 on Thursday, May 16. Wendell became the contestant to win the main challenge on episode 4, which made him The GOAT, while Kristen was sent home with eight votes to her name because she fell back on performing for her team while they were at the elimination challenge.

The main challenge was a game of luck, while the elimination challenge demanded team coordination. Da'Vonne headed Team Purple, chosen by Wendell himself, and they won. Reza was the second target after Kristen to secure votes at the round table, which signaled his elimination in the upcoming episode.

What went down on episode 4 of Prime Video's The GOAT?

How did Wendell become The Goat in episode 4?

Explaining the rules, Daniel Tosh said that, in the game of luck, the contestants had to pop the red balloons, which resembled pimples. If the popped balloon contained blue goo, the player would be safe, but if it had yellow puss, they would get eliminated. The last player to pop the balloon with blue goo would be The GOAT.

While Reza, Joe, Teck, and CJ got blue goo in their first round, Justin and Da'Vonne were eliminated in the first round itself. The final round consisted of Kristen, Wendell, Joe, and CJ, with only one blue balloon left in the game.

The winning player of this round would get the power to choose the teams for the elimination challenge, which meant that the stakes were high on this luck-based task.

Kristen was the first one to go, and she chose the wrong balloon, throwing her out of the game. Next up was Wendell. He chose the right balloon, eliminating Joe and CJ and making himself The GOAT of the episode.

Daniel Tosh gave details for the elimination round on The GOAT episode 4

Gearing up for the elimination challenge, Wendell, as The Goat, had to choose his team, which would render the remaining players as the other team. Wendell wanted to be fair and keep the teams equal but wanted to make his team slightly powerful for an easy win.

He chose to go with Jason, Joe, CJ, and Da'Vonne, who made Team Purple, while the remaining contestants made Team Orange. Reza was disappointed by Wendell's decision not to select him for his team because he thought they were really close.

For the challenge, one player from each team had to guide the other blindfolded players through a maze. Team Purple chose Da'Vonne to guide them, while Team Orange had Justin as the guide.

Team Purple always stayed on top and eventually won because Da'Vonne made sure from the start that she was being heard by each player. Justin, on the other hand, lacked the same thing. Many contestants on his team couldn't hear him, creating confusion as they tried to navigate.

How did Kristen Doute get eliminated in episode 4?

For the season's fourth elimination, the losing Team Orange had their sights set on Kristen because she was the one to drop the ball at the elimination challenge. A worried Kristen had a chat with Da'Vonne, who helped her strategize a scheme to shift the target from her to Reza. When she tried convincing Wendell, he said she needed to convince the majority of the people for him to flip his vote.

When the contestants gathered at the table to vote, Kristen gathered eight votes, while Reza got three. After she was eliminated, Kristen called out the men for being threatened by a woman.
