Nate reflected on his date with Anise while talking to his ex-girlfriend, Jackie. He described Anise as “a very attractive older woman” but added:

"She’s a little bit outside of my desired age bracket."

Although he clarified that he didn’t intend to discriminate based on age, Nate noted that personal preferences played a role in his perspective. Meanwhile, Anise discussed the date with her daughter, Dwayna. She expressed that Nate was a "gentleman" and appreciated his respectful behavior during their time together.

However, she pointed out some differences between them, particularly his lack of interest in hobbies like hiking, which she enjoys. Anise recounted that the date ended well, with Nate walking her home and asking for her number.

Nate later remarked, "I don’t think there’s a romantic connection, but I enjoyed meeting her." Meanwhile, Dwayna encouraged her mother to make the next move. She suggested Anise text Nate and added, "This is you showing your boomerness in all of this."

Lori reflects on her dating journey on The Later Daters

Lori opened up about her dating challenges on The Later Daters, sharing that she had been single for over 15 years. As a behavioral coach by day and a media correspondent by night, Lori explained that her busy schedule often kept her from focusing on relationships. She admitted:

"I hate dating, but it’s a priority at my age now because I want to be loved."

While preparing for a date with help from her daughter Kennede and stylist Diana, Lori discussed her vision for an ideal partner. She wanted someone who could understand her career and support her long-held goals. Lori also mentioned having a crush on a colleague, Felton, saying:

"I love his humor and his vibe, but I think I’m in the friend zone."

Encouraged by her son, Lori began working with a dating coach, Logan. During their session, Logan asked Lori to embrace a softer side and openly approach relationships. Lori expressed her hopes, saying, “I want to meet my best friend—someone I can hang out with.”

Logan encouraged her to take a fresh approach, saying, “We need to get you from friend zone to end zone,” as they worked together on her journey toward finding a partner.
