Rob Warne recently returned to the 90 Day Fiancé franchise with a spin-off, 90 Day: Hunt for Love, which premiered on TLC on May 26. He was last seen on season 2 of The Last Resort, where he was partnered up with his former girlfriend, Sophie Sierra.

While Rob is now looking for a new partner on Hunt for Love, his former partner is still on his mind. In an interview with Parade, published on June 6, the reality star once again reflected on his relationship with Sophie and tried to shed some light on her family's finances.

Rob claimed that he never relied on any financial support from Sophie's family for their relationship. He explained that he had to manage everything on his own and her family was unable to offer any help.

“So the whole, ‘Oh, we come from money thing,’ but you ain’t got no money and you can’t help [with] anything… How about let me do what I gotta do to keep us going forward?” he said about the Sierra family.

90 Day Fiancé star Rob Warne shares details about Sophie Sierra's family's financial condition

Rob Warne and Sophie Sierra were introduced as a couple on season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort. They were the only non-married couple on the season and wished to work on their communication and trust issues.

The couple joined other struggling couples, who had their own set of problems, and together participated in several challenges that had the power to improve certain aspects of a relationship.

While things initially looked hopeful for Rob and Sophie, they grew even further apart by the end of the season than they were when they came in. Eventually, they decided to break up as they were at a point where they could not trust each other anymore.

In his interview with Parade, Rob once again spoke about his former 90 Day Fiancé partner, shedding light on her family's financial situation. He implied that the Sierra family was not as well-off as they claimed to be. As a result, Rob said he never took any financial support from them and had to handle everything on his own.

However, Rob described the family's financial issue being discussed as a "moot point." He believed that it did not matter if Sophie's family had any money or not since it had not contributed anything to their relationship, and he felt it was pointless.

“All I can say is that just because somebody says they have money does not mean they have anything to offer. I’m not in her family’s pockets. Whatever money there is or isn’t on her family’s side has never paid a dime towards Sophie and I’s relationship. So it’s kind of, it’s kind of like a moot point," he said.

The 90 Day Fiancé star further went on to take shots at Sophie's mother, claiming that she was not rich and did not know how to make, handle, or use money. Essentially, he did not think of her as a financially responsible person.

“There was times where the main person in her life who was telling her what to think and what to expect was somebody that was so hypocritically out of line to me that it also triggered me because I’ve only ever gotten and had the opportunity to do [things] on my own,” the 90 Day Fiancé star continued.

At the end of the interview, Rob claimed that the family did not even have enough finances to help others with the problem.
