"I promise you I will watch over Mom" — Tiffani Thiessen mourns father Frank Thiessen after his death at 85

White Collar fame Tiffani Thiessen took to Instagram to inform her fans and mourn the death of her father, Frank Thiessen. He passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 85.

The 50-year-old actress shared a carousel of her late father's pictures and wrote a heartfelt caption mentioning that her dad was a "lover of many things" like animals, plants, jazz, and good Italian pasta, but he loved his family the most.

Tiffani Thiessen also stated:

"I promise you I will watch over Mom and take care of her as you did for over 60 years."

Tiffani Thiessen thanked her dad for being a "dedicated husband" and showing her what a true gentleman is. Thiessen was born to Robyn and Frank Thiessen in California and her father was a park designer and landscape architect.

In the Instagram carousel mourning the death of her dad, Tiffani Thiessen posted photos of Frank Thiessen alongside his grandchildren Holt and Harper, and Tiffani's childhood photos as well. Describing the qualities of her late father, she mentioned in the caption that he was of a quiet nature but never kept mum on showing his love for his family.

She added that he was the "utmost gentleman" with a "sweet sense of humor" and kindness.

"Everybody who knew my Dad LOVED him. He truly had a heart of gold," Thiessen wrote in the caption.

Tiffani Thiessen added that she is heartbroken by her father's demise and that she knows he is at peace now, which is something that brings her comfort. Expressing her gratitude towards Frank, Tiffani thanked him for being a "wonderful Dad and Gramps" and being there for everyone.

Toward the end of her caption, the Alexa & Katie actress stated:

"But most of all, thank you for loving me like you always did. No matter what, you had my back and were my biggest fan. I loved making you proud."

The post garnered heartfelt comments from several stars and fans. Extending their support to Tiffani, celebrities like Angela Kinsey, Mario Lopez, Emmy-winning TV host Ross Mathews, and others sent their condolences and love to the actress.

Tiffani Thiessen's husband, Brady Smith, also took to the comment section and mentioned:

"Love you, Mr. T. Grateful to spend so many years with you. I promise to take good care of @tiffanithiessen"

Tiffani Thiessen has showcased her fondness for her father multiple times, a recent instance was her Instagram post she shared on Frank Thiessen's 85th birthday on February 4, 2024. Wishing him on the occasion, the Fastlane actress wrote that her father is one of the reasons that she is proud and thankful for.


The cause of Frank Thiessen's demise hasn't been released or commented on by either Tiffani Thiessen or her family.
