Sabrina Carpenter sparked excitement among fans by reuniting with her former Girl Meets World co-star Corey Fogelmanis just before the show's eleventh anniversary. The pair, joined by Carpenter's best friend Paloma Sandoval, appeared in a TikTok video posted on June 11, 2025.
In the 20-second clip, the trio danced along to Carpenter's new single, Manchild, from her upcoming album titled Man's Best Friend that is set for release in August this year. This fun reunion moment doubled as a promotion for her new music and delighted longtime viewers who remember the duo from their Disney days.
For the uninitiated, Carpenter and Fogelmanis starred together on Girl Meets World; the Disney Channel series that aired from 2014 to 2017. It was a spin-off of a popular ABC series Boy Meets World (1993-2000) and focused on a teenager named Riley Matthews. Riley was the daughter of the original show's characters, Topanga and Cory Matthews.

On the show, Carpenter took on the role of Maya Hart, Riley's best friend and an aspiring artist. Fogelmanis played Farkle Minkus, the brainy son of Stuart Minkus from the original series.

Since Girl Meets World ended in 2017, both Sabrina Carpenter and Corey Fogelmanis pursued diverse careers after the show. Fogelmanis has continued working as an actor and model. He most recently appeared in Conan Gray's music video for This Song, released in May 2025. In the video, Fogelmanis played Gray's love interest.
Additionally, he starred in the 2023 Netflix series My Life With the Walter Boys, an adaptation of Ali Novak's 2014 novel originally published on Wattpad. The actor was last seen in the movie I Wish You All the Best as Ben, alongside Cole Sprouse in 2024.
Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter has focused primarly on building a successful music career, dropping multiple albums and singles. Carpenter recently graced the July/August 2025 cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

During the interview published on June 12, she defended her decision to release Man’s Best Friend just one year after her hit album Short n’ Sweet, dismissing concerns about overexposure. She stated there are "no rules" and prioritizes inspiration over waiting periods.
"Why would I wait three years just for the sake of waiting three years?" she asked.
The singer also addressed criticism of s*xually suggestive choreography in her recent Short n’ Sweet Tour. Carpenter said she finds it "funny" when people complain, arguing:
"They’re like, ‘All she does is sing about this.’ But those are the songs that you’ve made popular. Clearly you love s*x."
Carpenter noted that her shows contain diverse material beyond these moments. She further expressed frustration over the disproportionate scrutiny female artists face.
The reunion between Sabrina Carpenter and Corey Fogelmanis, just before the show's anniversary, offered fans a callback to their beloved roles as Maya and Farkle.
