A recap video of My Adventures with Superman season 1 was released by Adult Swim. To establish where Clark, Lois, and Jimmy are at the beginning of My Adventures with Superman Season 2, this more than 30-minute film goes over many of the largest and most significant moments from the first season.

Recap of My Adventures with Superman Season 2 first two episodes

Episode 1 recap

As the episode opens, Lois is concerned for her father and Clark is experiencing a nightmare about the revelations from the Season 1 finale. Clark wants to spend a quiet Valentine's Day with Lois, but his coworkers are against it.

After Lois provides information on a mystery meteor that may strike Earth, Clark, Lois, and Jimmy look into it. Lex is being turned away at the door when they arrive, but Jimmy persuades him to try. After the meteor disappears, Clark's ship is discovered in the Arctic.

When Clark gets to the Arctic, he sees that Jor-El, his father, has learned to speak English. He tells how a "war of their own making" brought down the Kryptonian empire and banished Clark from the planet. Jor-El explains that his brother Zor-El also sent Kara Zor-El away and that the Kryptonian ship Clark saw at the first season's end was an empty last remnant from the Empire.

Jor-El takes control of the spacecraft as Superman and Amanda Waller come to combat the invaders. Jor-El merges with the vessel to drive Waller out and move it to another region of the Arctic. Jor-El says goodbye to Superman and admits that the Kryptonite is killing him.

A brief love encounter between Lois and Clark is cut short when it is discovered that Deathstroke has shaved some Kryptonite fragments onto his blade.

Episode 2 recap

Amanda Waller approaches Lois's father, Sam Lane, and begs him to speak. He hasn't told Lois about his cousin, but she still looks for him with Clark. Billy begs Superman for assistance in locating his father, a volunteer at Styrker's Prison, who has vanished.

Jimmy must put FlameBird first even though he wants to assist. After breaking into Stryker's Prison, Lois and Clark discover Task Force X and Deathstroke. Lane declines to divulge any information regarding covert technologies, but Waller is uncommunicative.

Lois and Clark confront Waller, who has Atomic Skull's protection. They crash into a crowded room where Task Force X is conducting experiments on Billy's father, who has gone missing. Superman defeats Atomic Skull and finds the lost beacon to aid in his cousin's location. She ruined the mission, Waller reveals so that Lane would appear unfit to command Task Force X.

Jimmy shows up with a yacht, and everyone escapes Stryker's Prison island without incident. Lois is helped by Clark, but he won't stay with her. As Alex introduces himself as her new chief scientist and admits he's working with Lex Luthor, one of Superman's biggest potential enemies, Lois proposes her father stay with Clark and Jimmy.
