Twitch streamer and political commentator Hasan "HasanAbi" recently targeted long-time political adversary Ethan Klein over accepting a sponsorship from Dan Saltman's company, Redact. The H3 Podcast host announced the sponsorship during its 156th episode, showing off the Redact's logo on "The Button," a central part of the podcast.
To those unaware, "The Button" is a Ross AirCleaner-2 brand killswitch that keeps Ethan Klein's podcast at a 30-second delay, allowing Klein to erase the last 30 seconds of the broadcast in real-time before it airs with a single press of the button.
Redact's founder and CEO, Dan Saltman, is a co-host of the Anything Else? podcast, alongside political streamer Steven "Destiny." With Destiny and Klein being political rivals of HasanAbi, it was only natural for the latter to post his take on the sponsorship on X.
In his X post, HasanAbi alleged that Redact utilizes information from its users to "blackmail" individuals, writing:
"The israel lover who owns this social media monitoring company has openly talked about using the information clients send him to blackmail people. guess ethan can’t go with the regular sponsors anymore so he’s doing this to buy his new rolex!!"
What is Redact? Ethan Klein announces that H3 Podcast is now sponsored by Dan Saltman's company
Redact.dev, also known as Redact, was founded by Dan Saltman in 2021. The company provides services allowing for mass deletion of messages and posts from various social media and messaging services such as Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and Discord.
The service has both free and paid tiers, with the free tier providing the ability to mass delete Tweets, Likes, and Retweets, as well as obfuscation of an unlimited number of Reddit posts. Meanwhile, limited support for Discord and Facebook is available under this tier.
On the other side, the Premium and Ultimate tiers allow for mass deletion from all social media services and personal work & productivity services, respectively. The Ultimate tier also includes "mod tools" for Discord and Reddit.
Ethan Klein recently alleged that YouTuber Ian "iDubbbz" was in an "abusive relationship" with his wife, Anisa Jomha. Furthermore, Klein stated that he had "no mercy" for the Content Cop creator, specifically after the latter's comments on the Child Protective Services controversy that enveloped Klein and his family.
