A clip of YouTube streamer Ludwig Ahgren has gone viral showing him allegedly crossing an intersection while the traffic signal was red, during his Japan stream. Ludwig was driving a van with other creators like Connor "CDawgVA," when they came across an intersection. Although the vehicle entered the crossing while the traffic light was still yellow, it turned red just as they were exiting it. Interestingly, Ludwig was quick to spot his mistake, and even addressed it in the clip, saying:"Chat, I just want to clarify that I did not run a red, it was an LA yellow."To this, CDawgVA responded by claiming:"Oh, he ran the red. (Ludwig responded, 'I did not run the red. It was a yellow)"Comment byu/tripel7 from discussion inLivestreamFailThe clip was shared on the popular r/LivestreamFail subreddit, which garnered a lot of mixed reactions from fans. Meanwhile, in what appears to be a joke, Ludwig has responded to the situation claiming that the clip was AI. He said:"Guys there is a clip of me going around running a red light - it's AI. So be safe out there, hug a loved one, sh*t's scary. Sh*t's scary for real. I'm a really good driver.""Classic New Hampshire driver" - Fans react to Ludwig allegedly running a red while drivingLudwig is typically someone who stays out of direct controversy, but in this instance, the clip of him running the red light sparked mixed reactions and quite a bit of trolling from the LSF (LivestreamFail) community. Here are some of the comments:"Classic New Hampshire driver," said u/Nabs617Another trolled the streamer, jokingly stating that he didn't read Japanese:"His Japanese isn’t that good so he didn’t know what the color meant," said u/NotSoSlenderManMeanwhile, one user remarked that the streamer was trying to "gaslight" his audience:"So guilty he has to gaslight us all," said u/PicaroKaguyaHowever, there were some who jumped to the YouTuber's support:"As long as you cross into the intersection right before it turns red, you didn't run a red. That didn't happen here but in case you didn't know," said u/ggoatBS"The real rule is whether or not a cop is around, notices, decides it was a red, and cares enough to fine you," said u/NeitherClub2419Although Ludwig usually avoids drama, he recently made headlines after revealing that he had to drop a "six-figure" sponsorship from MrBeast for his Streamer Games event. This decision came in the wake of the allegations surrounding MrBeast.
