Twitch streamer Nick "FaZe Lacy's" hot take on livestreaming being harder than a full-time job has gone viral on social media. On August 5, 2024, FaZe Lacy addressed viewers' criticisms that he was "complaining" about his job after being allowed to fly to Japan. The content creator sternly responded to those who claimed livestreaming is an "easy job" by saying:

"You guys act like, 'Oh, my job is so easy. Streaming is so easy. You get to do all this cool stuff.' Here's the thing - I genuinely think that streaming is harder than an actual job, and I'm going to tell you why right now. Go ahead and laugh at me. Go ahead and laugh."

The FaZe Clan member's comments have elicited over a thousand reactions on X, with X user @lilglocc1k remarking that the 21-year-old "needs a reality check":

"Kid needs a reality check," wrote X user @lilglocc1k.

X user @reenzy believed that FaZe Lacy would give up after two days of working a 9-to-5 job:

"Put this idiot into a full-time 9/5 and watch him fold day two," remarked X user @reenzy.

On the other hand, YouTuber Adisson Pierre "YourFellowArab" concurred with FaZe Lacy's opinions, writing:

"Streaming is way harder than a full-time job. Brokies wouldn't get it cuz they have a slave mentality watching and idolizing a dude on a screen. 18 hours a day having to act like a monkey and distribute it to every platform is way harder than a 9-5," said YouTuber YourFellowArab.

AMP Agent 00 also chimed in, commenting:

"This n***a, Lacy, got the clip, " commented AMP Agent 00.

FaZe Lacy explains why he believes streaming is "genuinely harder" than a regular job

According to FaZe Lacy, it was "genuinely hard" for streamers to fly several hours to a different country, be jetlagged and exhausted, and broadcast themselves "shopping for six to eight hours":

"Tell me it's not harder to have to fly 17 hours all the way out to Japan - have jetlag, be tired, then when you get here, you have to walk around in the hot sun, 100 degrees out, sun beating down on you. You're sweating. You're tired. You're hungry. And then you have to stream yourself and go shopping for six to eight hours a day, bro. Like, that's genuinely hard."

He then compared livestreaming to a regular job, saying:

"Compared to working a normal job where you just go in for, like, six hours every day, because normal jobs work what, 30 hours a week, six hours a day, and five days a week. 30 hours and then you have the weekends off."

FaZe Lacy also stated that having "social skills" as a streamer is more difficult than having a 9-to-5 job:

"I just walk around in public, talking to people, mogging, just like, trying to interact with people. It gets hard to have those social skills, compared to having a normal 9-to-5 job."

In other news, popular Fortnite content creator Cody "Clix" called FaZe Lacy the "weakest motherf**ker ever" after he followed Darla Claire on Instagram amid the cheating controversy.
