Kick streamer and political commentator Steven "Destiny" has reacted to a Twitch streamer making some alarming comments targeted at him. The streamer in question goes by the name Gremloe (13.3K followers). In the clip (that Steven was reacting to), Gremloe can be heard suggesting that he would physically attack Steven if he were to see him. He said the following:
"I'm not saying it's on sight (slang referring to physical altercation) if I see Destiny in Twitchcon again. I'm saying, you know, it probably would be on sight."
Destiny is no stranger to receiving such vitriolic messages. Reacting to Gremloe making such suggestive comments, Destiny said:
"I feel like if people are willing to make these comments online, that's fine, but I think they should be afraid to do so and I don't know if that's something I wanna engage in."
He added:
"This is like extreme online tactics, but I am deeply uncomfortable with the idea that multiple people feel safe and secure, essentially making threats of physical violence about me on platforms that are harboring it. It's like a wild world."

Not the first time a streamer has been threatened physically
Destiny's concerns over receiving violent threats from Twitch streamers are not new. Zack "Asmongold," has faced a similar situation in recent weeks. For instance, back in April 2024, Twitch streamer Denims stated that she would pay $30,000 to anyone who made Asmongold "disappear."
In a stream, Denims said:
"$30k to anyone who'd make this dips**t (referring to Asmongold) disappear and make Eve's breasts bigger. Okay? You have to do both. All right? Because then it's a win-win for me."
Asmongold was naturally shocked by these statements and even said that he contacted Twitch about it:
"I contacted Twitch about it earlier. I sent them the clip and we'll see what happens. And, you know, maybe after that, I might put in a police report."
Recently, he also spoke about Destiny's ban on Twitch, stating how Twitch has kept certain creators who have made vitriolic comments but haven't restored Destiny. He said:
"You have another guy who says people should kill Destiny. You have that Frogan girl calling people cr**kers. B**ch, what the f**k are you doing? Having them on the platform, but Destiny is not."

It remains to be seen if Twitch takes note of the recent comments directed at Destiny. At the time of writing, Gremloe's Twitch account is still operational (meaning that he hasn't received any suspension).
