Twitch streamer Kai Cenat's latest Mafiathon 2 stream (November 27, 2024) witnessed a controversial incident. For context, magician Max Major orchestrated a hanging-from-a-rope stunt live on stream. Naturally, both the Twitch streamer and his friends were left shocked by the disturbing nature of the trick.

It was later informed that Major and his crew had left the compound without providing any explanation for the act. However, before they could leave, Cenat and his friends managed to get hold of one of Major's team members and produced him in front of the camera. Kai told him:

"I gave y'all a chance last year to come on my sh*t and I brought y'all back. The fact that he can't show me respect and come back to the house, and explain to the people what happened, it's f**ked up."

This segment was later shared on the popular livestreaming subreddit r/LivestreamFail. One user comically labeled the situation as:

"W Kidnapping," said u/Few-Chemist-3463

Fans also noticed that Cenat even took away his keys before returning it seconds later. Speaking about this action, one user wrote:

"He took the guy's car keys for a few seconds, glanced at chat and realized he was committing a crime, and then quickly gave them back," said u/AdBeneficial9697

Here are some other reactions from the Reddit post:

"They were literally holding this dude hostage. I wouldn't be surprised if nobody like this ever comes on stream again. Like, what happened was crazy, but this dude is probably freaking," said u/aligators
"Kai’s gotta ditch some of that crew. Lots of hangers on’s who just gonna get Kai burned," said u/yetagainitry

What did Max Major say following the controversy during Kai Cenat's Mafiathon 2?

Kai Cenat's latest stream sparked controversy due to a disturbing hanging trick performed by magician Max Major. Although one of the latter's crew members was detained, it was revealed that Major and the rest of his team had already left the scene.

He later reached out to Kai Cenat, explaining that there was no reason to return and that he accepted being labeled as the "bad guy." Kai read out Major's message:

"Max just texted me... please, listen up, chat. Max just texted my team saying, 'It's Max, I don't have my phone, I think we have everyone leave, and we let the story be what it is. I'm the bad guy, but coming back, it doesn't change anything.' Let the story be what it is, what do you mean?! This is selfish! That is selfish! "

The segment effectively ended after that. Since leaving Kai Cenat's stream, Max Major has not issued any official statements, except for a brief video lasting about a minute and a half, where he claimed the entire situation was a prank. Despite this explanation, Kai and his crew were visibly upset.
