Former YouTube streamer Herschel Beahm IV, better known as Dr DisRespect, has officially moved to Rumble Gaming. A press release on November 25, 2024, revealed that the controversial content creator (who was banned from Twitch in 2020) will not only move to Rumble's new gaming and esports arm, where he can be watched for free, but will also make exclusive content for Rumble Premium.
As per the statement, Dr DisRespect has also been awarded equity for the website and will be acting as an advisor for Rumble Gaming. Hours after the press release went out on the official website, the "Doc" (as he is called by his community), announced that he will start streaming on Rumble from December 2, 2024, on his official channel at https://rumble.com/DrDisrespect. On his social media, he shared a promotional trailer for the new channel, along with a discount code for the Premium section of the website for his community.
Presumably, the wording of the press release suggests that dr DisRespect will no longer be available to watch on YouTube, and viewers would have to use Rumble, especially for the paywalled content he does for Rumble Premium.
Dr DisRespect joins Rumble a month after CEO denied reports that an offer was declined
Earlier this year, Dr DisRespect made headlines after being accused of sending inappropriate messages to an alleged minor, with reports claiming that was the reason Twitch banned him indefinitely in June 2020. Soon afterwards, his YouTube channel was demonetized leading to much speculation about an impending move to a new platform such as Kick or Rumble.
Last month, rumors of him being denied an offer by Rumble went viral on social media, shortly after Kick's CEO, Ed Craven, was clipped on his livestream stating that signing Dr DisRespect would not be a good decision. In response, the streamer claimed that he would retire before moving to Kick.
On the other hand, the CEO of Rumble, Chris Pavlovski, also categorically denied having declined an offer from Dr DisRespect. However, no indication that Dr DisRespect would be joining the platform was made until today, November 25, 2024. As such, fans can expect the Two-Time to start streaming on Rumble from December 2, 2024.
