Why did IShowSpeed get banned from Roblox?

Darren "IShowSpeed" is known for his hilarious content revolving around mobile games. His meteoric rise to fame is partly attributed to his videos on Talking Ben and other entries in the Talking Tom & Friends series of mobile games. Similarly, he has extensively covered a wide variety of minigames offered within Roblox.

However, on January 7, 2024, the creator uploaded a video on YouTube showcasing how he received a ban from Roblox. He was seen installing the modded version of Roblox on stream and using the credentials of his fans while playing various games like Bedwars in-game. Eventually, the usage of these hacks led to him being "temporarily" banned for over 4960 weeks (90+ years).

What did IShowSpeed to get banned from Roblox?

While on stream, Darren decided to download a modded version of Roblox, allowing him to use in-game exploits such as "HDR Graphics", "Wall Hack", "Multi Jumps" and "Fly Super", among other options. Right after downloading this version of Roblox, he saw a mod menu appear on his phone.

IShowSpeed then excitedly rushed to various game rooms to try out the exploits, which, much to his delight, worked quite well. He tried various maps including "Easy Obby" and "Jail Break", but his fun was short-lived after being logged out of the game.

Soon after, he was presented with a message displaying Error Code 273. This code meant that he would not be able to play the game with the same credentials anymore since he had been banned.

However, Darren did not stop there and proceeded to try again with another fan's credentials by showcasing a login QR code on stream. Any fans volunteering to give their account to Speed could then scan the code and allow him to log in. Eventually, Speed was given access to a fan's account, who he shouted out on the stream.

The creator immediately continued to use the in-game mods until he was presented with yet another message, this time clearly stating that the creator had been "temporarily banned," but with a duration of more than 4960 weeks.

IShowSpeed recently went to watch the FA Cup final, being held between Manchester City and Manchester United in Wembley Stadium, London. He attended the event with his South Korean date, influencer Amy Flamy.

While exiting the establishment, however, the creator's car was surrounded by Manchester City fans. With him wearing a Manchester United jersey, the creator was confronted by many angry Manchester City fans, who were knocking on his window.
