In a 2024 interview with Access Hollywood, Elizabeth Hurley spoke about starring in her son Damian Hurley's directorial debut, titled Strictly Confidential. The American thriller featured Georgia Lock, Lauren McQueen, Freddie Thorp, Genevieve Gaunt, Pear Chiravara, Llyrio Boateng, and Max Parker alongside Hurley and was released on April 5, 2024.
In the film, Hurley plays the role of a mysterious character called Lily. The synopsis of the film, as per IMDb, reads:
"A haunted young woman finds herself drawn into a world of seduction, duplicity and betrayal as she desperately tries to uncover the mystery surrounding her best friend's suicide."
Talking about shooting intimate sequences in the film, Hurley explained that she felt "liberated" while working alongside her son. She also expressed the urge to do it again.
"It’s kind of liberating to work with your family, I may do it again," told Elizabeth Hurley.
She continued:
"It’s relaxing knowing someone’s behind the camera who looks out for you – which was the same on this movie in a way, because the things that his script needed me to do in this weren’t necessarily always done in movies many times before – but having him there meant I felt safe and looked after."
Damian Hurley also addressed the same, explaining that it was professional and that they had no time to consider it.
“We felt in our comfort zone, it’s very strange. I think, also, when you’re on an independent film, you have 18 days to shoot, every single second counts. You can’t sit around mulling scenes, thinking ‘What if?’” he said.
