In the clip, the Chicago Sky star gives a full "fit check" of the all-black ensemble she wore upon arriving at the United Center for Saturday’s highly anticipated matchup against the Indiana Fever.

The 1:04 video showcases Reese embracing her signature style, something that’s become a consistent part of her WNBA persona. She sported a sleek all-black outfit featuring a wide-brimmed hat, a fur-lined trench coat and high-heeled black boots.

However, the timing of the video didn’t sit well with fans. The Sky had just suffered a 25-point home loss to their rivals and many felt the post was poorly timed. Social media users accused Reese of prioritizing fashion content immediately after such a disappointing team performance.

How did Angel Reese perform against Indiana Fever?

Angel Reese turned in a disappointing performance on Saturday as the Chicago Sky were thoroughly outplayed in a 79-52 loss to the Indiana Fever on their home court.

While the former LSU star continued her strong rebounding with a double-digit effort, her impact in other areas was underwhelming. Reese finished with just four points on 2 of 7 shooting, along with 12 rebounds, two assists and three turnovers. She posted a -20 plus/minus rating in the loss.

Reese has struggled to find consistency throughout the season. Outside of her elite rebounding, her overall production has declined noticeably. Through seven games, she’s averaging 9.1 points on just 30.9% shooting, along with 3.7 turnovers per game, raising concerns about her offensive efficiency and decision-making.
