The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year has been sidelined since May 26. Her last game was against the Liberty on May 24, when she recorded 18 points and 10 assists in a 90-88 loss.

In her absence, the Fever have gone 2-3. They lost their last game 77-58 to the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday. Tip-off of the Liberty vs. Fever at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse is slated at 3 p.m. ET.

Caitlin Clark comments on her injury recovery process

Caitlin Clark spoke to the media about her recovery process. She shared that the process has been gradual and challenging and found it a bit hard to reintegrate herself back into team practices.

"It's definitely been a process," Clark said per ESPN on Friday. "I think the hardest part is when you begin to feel really good, and then it's just the process of working yourself back into actually getting up and down and getting out there with my teammates.

"And obviously that can be a little difficult, at the same time, when they're prepping for their games that I'm not going to be available in."

Before her injury-plagued absence, Clark averaged 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 9.3 assists. Fans would be anticipating a response from the Fever (4-5) when they face the Liberty (9-0).
