Even when she's not playing, it seems like everybody has something to say about Caitlin Clark. The Indiana Fever point guard has been all over the news and social media long before becoming the No. 1 pick in the WNBA Draft, and that's not going to change any time soon.

\NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has been in awe of her meteoric rise. While in attendance at the Indiana Pacers vs. New Orleans Pelicans game on Monday, Silver addressed Clark's popularity:

"Caitlin Clark set the world on fire, not just this community," the Commissioner told Pacers TV. "She's brought so much attention to the entire league. People are seeing how deep this league is and how good the quality of basketball is. It's wonderful to see."

Clark and Connor McCaffrey were reportedly sitting on Tyrese Haliburton's courtside seats, and the Commissioner also enjoyed a quick talk with her. Needless to say, it didn't take long before his comments went viral on social media:

"Oh boy the black Mafia is going to come for him," one fan said.
"Scott, sorry to say but I am glad to hear someone with the WNBA has recognized and given Caitlin her dues without feeling as if another player has to also be mentioned. It was Caitlin and her style of play," another fan said.
"Do you think he could tell the WNBA league office?" a WNBA fan said.

Here are some more reactions from fans.

"Scott, can u ask Adam Silver what his thoughts about wnba commissioner downplaying and not celebrating clark's impact to the league?" one fan said.
"Love when male sports support women’s sports!!!" a fan said.
"Adam a damn Racist!" one fan said.

Caitlin Clark reportedly turns down Unrivaled

Caitlin Clark, who has been playing some golf and enjoying a well-deserved break after his Rookie of the Year season, has also been at the forefront of speculation regarding a new 3-on-3 tournament.

Unrivaled, founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, has been trying to get Clark to join their league. Nonetheless, a report by the Sports Journal revealed that the young guard wouldn't partake in this venture:

"They have a lot of money, and they offered her a lot of money. And I was even just like, ‘Oh, you sure you don't want to do this?' But I also understand she really values her offseason. And that's where she has risen her game. If you haven't noticed, she's come back with adding something in her game every season. And that's where it happens is in the offseason," read the report.

Unrivaled emerged as an opportunity for WNBA players to stay in the U.S. and make more money instead of taking their talents overseas. Money, however, won't be an issue for a rising star like Caitlin Clark.
