WNBA star Caitlin Clark and her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, highlighted Indiana Pacers assistant coach Jenny Boucek's journey. The Indiana Fever star has supported the NBA franchise since she was drafted last year. The Pacers have given Clark the same treatment, constantly showing love to the star point guard.
Indiana is playing the most important playoff series in franchise history, led by Tyrese Haliburton. The team is tied 1-1 with the OKC Thunder in the 2025 NBA Finals.
On Instagram, Clark and her boyfriend highlighted the assistant coach.

Boucek was responsible for the Game 1 win for the Pacers. With 0.3 seconds left on the clock, Indiana had the lead. The Thunder had the final possession to try and win the game.
In the team's huddle, however, it was the assistant coach who was doing the defensive game plan instead of head coach Rick Carlisle.
"Rick said to me, 'I need this to be your role this year,'" Boucek said to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne. "And I don't want to let him down, I don't want to let the team down. But sometimes I feel like he's throwing me in the deep end and saying, 'You're either going to sink or swim. But I believe in you.'
"At times that's more than I believe in myself. But when somebody believes in you, they give you an assignment, and you do your best to fulfill that because you're part of a team. And you want to do your small part."
The Pacers trust Boucek, who was a college basketball star for the University of Virginia. She also played professional basketball. The undrafted guard was limited to 10 games and only played in the 1997 WNBA season for the Cleveland Rockers.
Aside from being the defensive coordinator for the Pacers, she's also a single mother to her daughter, Rylie.
Pacers' assistant spoke about Caitlin Clark
During Indiana's incredible postseason run, Boucek was interviewed by Marca. In their talk, she made her feelings known about Caitlin Clark. According to the Pacers' coach, the Fever star is destined for the spotlight, given her on-court talent.
Boucek also had a chance to work with Caitlin Clark's boyfriend and has formed a bond with the couple.
"Her boyfriend was an intern with us even before she was drafted. So yes, there's a lot of connection, a lot of support, not just with Caitlin Clark but with other players, and it's mutual," Boucek said.
While Clark is striving for excellence in the WNBA, Boucek is doing the same in the NBA.
