A young fan was overwhelmed on Thursday after Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark left her a personal message. The wholesome gesture by Clark came after the fan's parents posted a clip on Instagram. In the video, the fan was seen crying with excitement after learning she was going to Las Vegas to watch the Fever play the Aces.

The video quickly went viral, earning a comment from Caitlin Clark, who asked the young fan to check her DM. This comment by Clark was later shown to the young fan as her family filmed her reaction.

In the clip, the young fan appeared to be in disbelief as she celebrated the guard's response to her post. However, this was just the beginning, as her mother then revealed Clark's message in her DM's. The young fan was seen freaking out over the message, as she screamed in excitement.

Although the content of the personal message wasn't shared, it is safe to say that Clark made her day. The Fever are set to face the Aces in Las Vegas on June 22; however, Clark's involvement in the game is still unknown as she recovers from a quad injury.

The Indiana Fever star has missed the last five games due to the injury, but according to ESPN, Clark participated in training on Tuesday and could return to the court against the Liberty on Saturday.

Caitlin Clark was seen taking part in team drills on Thursday, as she looks set to return from injury. Suffering a quadriceps strain, Clark missed five games during that period, with her team going 2-3 in her absence.

"Caitlin Clark hits final shot to end practice ⛹️‍♀️," the caption read.

In the video, Clark was seen taking part in shooting drills, as she dropped a buzzer-beating shot to end practice. The Fever hosts the NY Liberty on Saturday, and while she is listed out on the injury report, a return has not been ruled out.
