The Caitlin Clark-led Indiana Fever suffered an 86-75 defeat in their marquee WNBA regular-season matchup against defending champions Las Vegas Aces at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Wednesday.
While Clark struggled throughout the game and shot 6-of-22 from the field, MVP frontrunner A'ja Wilson delivered another outstanding performance. The Aces superstar tallied 27 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and added two steals and three blocks to her impressive stat line.
Clark opened the game with a precise pass to Lexie Hull in the corner, who drained an open 3-pointer to extend her hot shooting streak.
