Caitlin Clark returned to X (formerly Twitter) after a 10-day break to cheer for the Kansas City Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes, as they secured their ninth straight AFC West championship with a victory over the LA Chargers on Sunday.

Clark isn’t the most active on X, but he shared her excitement with a post celebrating kicker Matthew Wright’s game-winning field goal, writing:

“Bank is open …. CHIEFSSSSSSSSSSS.”

This marked Caitlin Clark’s first tweet since Nov. 29, when she also expressed support for the Chiefs. Fans reacted to her post by joking about the team’s apparent good fortune from Clark’s fandom.

“Chiefs are lucky to have you always hyping them up,” one fan said.
“The GOAT rooting for the best team in football,” another fan said.
“You know ball 🐐,” another added.

Another fan humorously referenced the game-winning field goal that hit the upright and bounced in, saying:

Throughout the season, fans have jokingly accused the Chiefs of using "dark magic" to achieve their thrilling comebacks and victories. Some even expressed hopes that Caitlin Clark could channel similar magic for the Indiana Fever next season.

“Their dark magic is too strong,” one said.
“Next season you gonna have all the black magic to win it all,” another added.

Chiefs star Travis Kelce talks about Caitlin Clark being a Swiftie

Travis Kelce revealed that he met Caitlin Clark at his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and noted that the Indiana Fever star is a true Swiftie.

"She was into the show for sure," Travis said (per SI). "She was there with her mom and a few friends...she's a Swiftie through and through, man. Loves the show. I went to night two, she had already been to night one. I think she's just having fun. Going up to the shows and taking her friends and family."

The Eras Tour concluded its final show today. During its stop in Indianapolis, Clark attended both nights, where she joined fans in exchanging bracelets. She was accompanied by her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, along with her Fever teammate Lexie Hull and her mom.

Swift’s Eras Tour has spanned over a year, marking two years since the pop star first announced it.

Clark even attended an earlier concert in June 2023 while she was still in Iowa.
