Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark will launch her second line of basketballs with the official manufacturer for the NBA and WNBA, Wilson Sporting Goods, on June 23. The new lineup features four basketballs. The design for these balls comes from Clark herself, as Wilson’s designing team spent hours getting her input.
The four basketballs vary in looks as they have been inspired by different things that the Fever star likes. She loves the color blue and is also a fan of pastels. Furthermore, she says that the golf course and water are her happy places. These things are reflected in the design of Wilson’s new products.
Caitlin Clark spilled details on what she hopes to achieve through this collaboration:
“Whenever I do something, I want to make it the best product possible for people. But also, I feel like this is an easy way for me to connect with my fans,” Clark said while speaking to USA Today.
“I want it to feel very personal for them, too. They can connect with me, not just by watching me on TV or coming and buying a ticket to a game.”
Here are the new basketballs Wilson Sporting Goods will release as part of Caitlin Clark’s collection:
- Envision ball (outdoor): $27.95
- Oasis ball (indoor): $49.95
- Aspite ball: $54.95
- EVO NXT ball: $124.95
With this collaboration, Clark joined Michael Jordan as the only athlete to have their signature line of products with Wilson Sporting Goods. Her last collection with Wilson, released in July 2024, sold out in less than 24 hours.
Despite her massive popularity, Caitlin Clark has yet to receive a signature shoe
It is well known that Caitlin Clark has more pull in the WNBA than any other player. However, despite her massive popularity, she is yet to get a signature shoe. Clark has been signed with Nike since college. She first signed a NIL deal in 2022 and then penned an eight-year endorsement deal before entering the league in 2024.
However, a year later, Clark has only received player-exclusive (PE) versions of Nike's Kobe Bryant series. But the wait could soon be over as Nike's CEO, Elliott Hill, said in January that they are working on the design of Clark's logo and her shoe.
