Michael Jordan is an American Basketball player, considered by many, as the Greatest Basketball Player of All Time. MJ, as Jordan is popularly known, played 15 seasons in the NBA for the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards. Michael Jordan won Six NBA Championships with the Chicago Bulls and won Two Olympic Gold medals with the USA National Basketball team.

Jordan started his college career with North Carolina in 1981 and in his first season, he was named ACC Freshman of the year. During his three seasons at North Carolina, Jordan averaged 17.7 ppg and 5 rpg. He was selected to NCAA All-American First team in 1983 and 1984. In 1984, Jordan entered the NBA Draft.

Michael Jordan was selected by Chicago Bulls as the third overall pick and won the Rookie of the Year in his rookie season. Jordan formed a formidable partnership with Scottie Pippen and the duo led Chicago Bulls to a three-peat NBA Championships from 1991-93. In 1993, Michael Jordan announced his retirement citing a loss of desire to play the game. MJ returned to the NBA in 1995 and led the Bulls to their second three-peat from 1996-98. In 1999, Jordan retired again and returned in 2001 to play for the Washington Wizards. After playing for the Wizards for two seasons, Jordan announced retirement for the third and final time. MJ is currently the owner of Charlotte Hornets.

Michael Jordan's individual accolades include six NBA Finals MVP, five NBA MVP, ten Scoring Titles, and ten All-NBA first team designations.
