Often regarded as the Cavs, the Cleveland Cavaliers took birth back in 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio. The franchise’s home games took place at Cleveland Arena (1970-74), Richfield Coliseum (1974-94) and Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse (1994 to present). The professional American basketball team comes as a member of the Eastern Conference Central Division. The club struggled through the initial 5 seasons badly and won their first Central Division title in 1976. During 1979 to 1984, the team underwent 6 consecutive seasons with no playoff appearance. Before the current (2022-23) season, the Cleveland Cavaliers appeared in 5 NBA finals but held the trophy once (2016).
