Indiana Fever's young star Aliyah Boston shared her thoughts on Stephanie White, her new coach. The second-year player joined forces with Adidas for a Q&A (questions and answers) session on Reddit on Saturday, where she touched on several topics, including the new era about to begin for the Fever.

One fan asked her about her thoughts on having Stephanie White as the new coach. Boston noted that whenever White has gone, her teams have succeeded, and she wants to experience that success in Indiana.

"I am excited to play under her, seeing how her past teams have succeeded under her has been great to see so I am excited to see what she can bring to the team - AB," she responded.

Stephanie White joined the Fever to replace Christie Sides, who spent the last two seasons at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, posting a 33-47 record. She led them to the WNBA playoffs last season, but the front office decided to part ways with her to reunite with White, who won a championship with the team as an assistant in 2012.

White's prior experience suggests that she is a good development coach and adding her to a core with young players Aliyah Boston and the Fever's star Caitlin Clark makes this an intriguing project.

Stephanie White compares Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark to legendary NBA duo

While Aliyah Boston praised her new coach, Stephanie White already shared her vision for the forward. During her introductory press conference on Monday, White lauded Boston and Clark's competitiveness, mentality and the ability to make others play better.

More than that, she said that Boston and Clark could be a duo similar to John Stockton and Karl Malone in the NBA. Those two were one of the greatest one-two punches in NBA history that made it to back-to-back NBA Finals in 1997 and 1998 but lost to Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls each time.
