Caitlin Clark has missed the past four games for the Indiana Fever due to a quad injury. The Fever didn't need her in their lopsided 79-52 win over the Chicago Sky on Saturday. However, WNBA fans were stunned by the game's play-by-play announcer for seemingly taking some shots at Clark during the broadcast.
In a video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, a fan noticed how CBS Sports play-by-play guy Jordan Kent was speaking about the Fever and Clark. Kent mentioned a few things, including how DeWanna Bonner has played well since CC sat down because of the injury.
The former NFL player also pointed out that no previous MVP winners have missed more than three games in the seasons they won the award. Clark has already missed four games and will likely miss a few more. He added that the Fever are playing well despite the Iowa product's absence.
Some WNBA fans noticed it too and took a shot at Jordan Kent for his perceived bias against Caitlin Clark. Others were quick to defend Kent, who wasn't critical of Clark and was making good points.
Here are some of the best comments.
Jordan Kent remains under scrutiny by some Indiana Fever and Caitlin Clark fans. While they might have a point, Kent did celebrate a buzzer-beating 3-point shot by Clark last month against the New York Liberty. It was also the same game in which Clark suffered her quad injury that has kept her out ever since.
Here's the call from Kent.
Caitlin Clark set to miss another game on Tuesday against Atlanta

The Indiana Fever have initially ruled out Caitlin Clark for two weeks, but it seems like they are going to be more cautious with their superstar guard. Clark is set to miss her fifth consecutive game due to a quad issue and will be on the sidelines against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday.
Despite the bad news, coach Stephanie White explained that Clark has started ramping up her activities, along with Sophie Cunningham.
"I don't know if cleared is the right word, I mean, she's ready to start ramping back up," White said, according to the Indianapolis Star. "But it's completely different when you're just doing 1-on-1 workouts, and when you're out there in 5-on-5, getting up and down the floor, moving laterally. So she's been allowed to do some practicing, not everything. And we're gonna be smart, and we're gonna be cautious, and we're gonna play the long game."
Clark's next opportunity to play is on Saturday against the New York Liberty at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
