Behind Caitlin Clark, the Indiana Fever have clinched a spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2016. The rookie sensation has been playing at an MVP level since the WNBA returned from a month-long Olympic break. Clark’s superb performances have only pushed her already mind-boggling popularity to greater heights.
Although the sixth-seeded Fever have booked a ticket to the postseason, Clark might continue to see action. Indiana, holding a 19-17 record, still has a chance to move up to fifth at the expense of the Seattle Storm (21-14). If the Fever aim for that spot, the point guard could play in her team’s last four regular-season games.
