Caitlin Clark and Tyrese Haliburton have become the faces of the basketball world in Indiana. Both young point guards have put their team in the national spotlight thanks to their personalities and talent on the floor. The Indiana Fever All-Star has been supporting the Indiana Pacers' run in the NBA playoffs but admitted that her reactions to Haliburton's game-winning shots will not be made public.
Haliburton arrived in Indiana after the Pacers traded Domantas Sabonis for him in 2022. Since then, Haliburton has earned two All-NBA selections and two All-Star nods. Clark, on the other hand, was drafted by the Fever in 2024 after two dominant college seasons at Iowa. She was named an All-Star and was named to the All-WNBA first team as a rookie.
Clark has been enjoying Haliburton's clutch shots in the playoffs, recording her reactions to almost all of them. However, according to an article from ESPN's Ramona Shelbourne on Friday, Clark will not release the videos publicly anytime soon.
"I have a video on my phone I'm never going to show anybody," Clark said about her reactions. "I videotaped myself, like, the final play and I have my reaction in real time. It's a pretty iconic video. Maybe one day everybody will see it, but no, not right now. ... I cuss way too much in [the video]."
Both stars are passionate about their teams but have taken it upon themselves to support one another as the professional basketball teams in Indiana enjoy the most success they have had in decades. Each has attended the others' games, with Clark, Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull sitting courtside during the Pacers' home games.
The Pacers are undefeated at home playing in front of Caitlin Clark
At this point in their playoff run, Caitlin Clark might be the 'good luck charm' the Pacers need to win the first championship in franchise history. Indiana is 8-0 in the postseason when the Fever superstar attends the game, leading fans to believe that her presence provides a boost to Haliburton and his teammates.
Despite their dominance at home and in front of Clark, Indiana is still the underdog in the NBA Finals. According to ESPN Bet, the OKC Thunder are still favored to win the championship despite being down 2-1 in the series. The Thunder are 17-2 following a loss this season, leading fans to believe that they will head back to OKC with a 2-2 split heading into Game 5.
The Pacers' postseason run has been built on the idea that they are expected to lose. Haliburton has made four shots at the end of games to seal victories for Indiana, one in each round. Clark and the rest of Indiana's fanbase hope that he has a bit more magic left to lead them to a title.
