"She think it’s about her now": Dylan Harper's dad pulls absolutely no punches on Caitlin Clark's explosive clash with referee

Caitlin Clark's 32-point outburst stopped the winning streak of the New York Liberty. When the Indiana Fever star returned from her quad injury, she was high on adrenaline, showing that she was itching to make the comeback.

The entire game, Clark was never low on energy or confidence, especially in the first half. Once she started making shots in the last minutes of the first quarter, she didn't stop until halftime.

However, it seems like officials also got a piece of emotionally high Caitlin Clark. A video showed Clark's explosive clash with the referee. Clearly upset with the official, the Fever star was seen shouting, "Are you kidding me?" while clapping her hands in anger.

The referee eventually slapped a technical on Clark.

Alluding to the viral video, Rutgers' five-star recruit Dylan Harper's father and former NBA player Ron Harper took a shot at Clark on his social media post.

"She think it's about her now," he wrote replying to the video.

The Indiana Fever defeated the defending champions 102-88 thanks to Clark's high-scoring game. She finished the game with 32 points, eight rebounds, nine assists and two blocks.

The New York Liberty was undefeated untill it met the Indiana Fever riding high on Caitlin Clark's return. Playing in front of the home crowd, Clark put on a show, proving once again why she was quickly becoming the face of the league.

Through the first two quarters, Clark had put up 25 points on the scoreboard already. She had hit six long-distance 3-point shots, including one over Breanna Stewart from the logo. After the game, Clark spoke about her 32-point outburst.

"I saw three in a row go in, so that gives you a lot of confidence," Clark said. "Even in the second half, they all came off my hand feeling really good ... My legs felt really strong. I felt in good shape," she said.

Clark credited the Fever medical team for keeping her in shape.

"A lot of that is credit to our medical team. They have kept me in shape. Now for me, it's just how I recover, especially with the schedule that we have coming up."

Fever coach Stephanie White also showered praise on her star player. White said that she wasn't surprised by Clark's game.

"Don't we always expect that kind of game from Caitlin?" She said. "I knew her adrenaline was going to be high to start. She's been itching to get back out there."

Caitlin Clark and the Fever will now face the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday, followed by the Golden State Valkyries on Friday. With Clark back from her injury, the Fever will look to improve their record.
