WNBA sensation Angel Reese attended ComplexCon in October where she turned heads with her taste in fashion. The Chicago Sky star took part in a detailed interview on "360 with Speedy" and the video of the event was uploaded on YouTube on Wednesday.
Reese answered multiple questions, and during one segment, she credited LSU for making her the person that she is.
"I'll always love and like go back to LSU because they kinda made me who I am," Reese said (05:24).
Reese started her college basketball career at Maryland. In her freshman season, The Terrapins made it to the Sweet 16 of the 2021 NCAA tournament. Reese suffered a foot injury that year and bounced back in her sophomore season.
She made the All-Big Ten first team and All-Defensive Team before entering the transfer portal. Reese transferred to LSU in her junior year and became one of the biggest stars in college basketball.
Angel Reese helped LSU win its first national championship, beating the Iowa Hawkeyes 102-85 in the championship game. She carried the momentum in her senior year and led the Tigers to reach the Elite Eight. After a successful college career, Reese declared for the 2024 WNBA draft and the Chicago Sky drafted her as the seventh overall pick.
Angel Reese talks about her campus life at the LSU
During her interview with Speedy, Angel Reese also talked about her campus life at LSU. Speedy asked her if she was able to attend classes and party like other students.
"I didn't really party because I am not really a party (person)," Reese said. "I go to football games."
Speedy then booed her and jokingly called her a liar.
"I am for real, I don't go out that much," Reese said. "Now I do, in college, no I didn't, because as an athlete regardless you can't like move how you really wanna move. I can move how I wanna move now in the club 'cause it's like people are not weird. I am grown now, in college if my coach saw me with a red cup even if it was water, I am in trouble. I can't do that in school."
With the WNBA offseason in full swing, Reese has attended multiple NBA and NFL games. She also watched a concert by Usher and Megan Thee Stallion during the season.
