Angel Reese is already hyping up the next guest on her recently launched podcast called "Unapologetically Angel" presented by Playmaker. Reese teased the appearance of her friend and rapper Latto on the next episode, but it's still not confirmed.
The Chicago Sky star launched her podcast on Aug. 29 with a trailer before dropping the first episode on Sept. 6 featuring herself and co-host Maya Reese. A new episode will be available every Thursday with rapper Polo G as the first guest in the second episode on Sept. 12.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Reese hyped up her followers by teasing the next guest on "Unapologetically Angel." She didn't mention any names but warned everyone that they are not ready for the guest on episode three.
"Y'all bout to crash out about this next episode," she tweeted.
Fans are speculating that rapper Latto, who has a reported net worth of around $5 million (as per Celebrity Net Worth), could be the special guest on the third episode of "Unapologetically Angel." It's due to the Instagram page of the podcast asking fans to send out questions for the 25-year-old Georgia-based rapper.
However, it should be pointed out that it's not the first time the podcast's IG page asked fans to send questions for a potential guest. They did the same thing for Shaquille O'Neal and Sheryl Swoopes, who are both legends of the game, but haven't yet featured on the podcast.
With Angel Reese nursing an injury, she might have all the time to record future episodes, and her production team is preparing by asking fans to send questions for future guests. Reese has a connection with Latto, Shaq and Swoopes.
The Chicago Sky star rookie appeared in Latto's music video for "Put It On Da Floor Again" last year.
Shaq and Reese both went to LSU, and she even calls the four-time NBA champion "Uncle Shaq." Meanwhile, Swoopes is one of Reese's biggest supporters amid controversy on her commentary about Caitlin Clark.
Angel Reese out for the remainder of the season due to injury
Angel Reese's impressive rookie season ended prematurely earlier this month when she suffered a wrist injury against the LA Sparks. She underwent surgery on her left wrist on Tuesday and was back with the Chicago Sky on the sidelines for support.
However, the Sky continued their downward trajectory that started after the Olympic break. They have lost eight of their last 10 games and have surrendered the No. 8 spot to the Washington Mystics. They still have an identical record as the Myetics, who hold the tiebreaker.
Chicago has three games left in the regular season and will need to win them all to have a chance at making the playoffs. They host the Phoenix Mercury in their final home of the campaign before finishing the season on the road against the Atlanta Dream and the Connecticut Sun.
