#3 - Haven: Reyna

Haven is the only map in Valorant that features three bomb sites. With enemies spread throughout the map, Reyna is the go-to duelist.

Her dismiss ability allows her to deny trades when she gets a kill. On the Attack side, Reyna can take one-versus-one fights, as the defenders are more spread across the map on Haven. Fighting Reyna one-versus-one on any map is no easy feat, but it’s made even more difficult on Valorant’s Haven.

If Reyna takes damage, her Devour can heal her for up to 100 health or shield (can’t exceed a maximum of 150 total health). Defenders may have to play an angle together when taking on Reyna, but even that is not guaranteed to stop her massacre.

Reyna’s Leer is an excellent entry tool on Haven. The minimap reveals exactly where the flash will land, and her teammates are unaffected by it. Direct site pushes on Haven are very useful with Reyna, especially if there is no to defend it.

#4 - Icebox: Jett

Valorant’s Icebox, despite its recent changes, still has many off-angles to clear when surveying a bombsite. For this reason, Jett is a great Agent. Many players hate Icebox, though, so with more changes, the ideal duelist for the map may change.

Jett’s abilities on a newer map will always be hard to deal with. As callouts are still being learned, and the map is still being changed, the only thing players can count on is Jett wielding an Operator.

Additionally, Icebox has a few locations that heavily favor the defender, i.e., “green” and “boiler.” Clearing angles on Icebox against an enemy Jett is an arduous task. She can play various off-angles and quickly relocate with her abilities. Until players truly learn the ins-and-outs of Icebox, Jett is the best candidate in Valorant.

#5 - Split: Raze

Split is made up of narrow pathways to the A and B bombsites. Even the middle of the map is relatively narrow.

Raze’s kit is excellent on these narrow lanes. Her Boom Bot can clear pretty much every corner on Split. Raze can gain intel with her Bot and fall back or play directly off of it.

Raze is the only character in Valorant that can do direct damage with every ability. Even if she comes up short of a kill, teammates can count on Raze to deal damage and force out opponent utility.

Raze’s Showstopper ultimate is difficult to dodge on Split. Attackers frequently play predictable angles, making a site retake with a Showstopper very useful. Raze showing up on the kill feed is a given on Split when she yells, “Fire in the hole!”

This map features the least amount of available off-angles of all the arenas in Valorant, allowing Raze to be viable in entering onto sites first. Her satchels can both destroy traps and grant her movement.

It may be best to avoid taking on Raze directly on Split, as her kit gives her the advantage.
