The action from the second week continues in the RuPay Pro Volleyball League 2019 as U Mumba Volley, still in search of their first win of the season, take on Black Hawks Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Kochi, Kerala.
Black Hawks Hyderabad have been struggling to get going in the league after starting with a dominant win in their first match and have lost three matches in a row. U Mumba Volley lost two matches and will aim to get their points tally started with a win tonight.
Match Overview
U Mumba Volley played in the inaugural match of the season where they faced a crushing 1-4 defeat against the crowd favourites, Kochi Blue Spikers. Their second fixture was against the league leaders Calicut Heroes.
The Mumbai side gave a tough fight in a refreshing change from their opening encounter and took the match to the fifth set, where they lost out to the Heroes. They will take positives from their showing and come out all guns blazing against the Black Hawks after a few good days of rest.
U Mumba's foreign imports, Tomislav Coskovic and Nicholas Del Bianco will be key to their success as they support the Indian players with their experience on the court.
