The Junior National Wrestling Championship is being held at Chandigarh from 9th to 12th May 2013. The Federation had requested the National Anti Doping Agency [NADA] to send their Doping Team for dope test of wrestlers participating in the above Championship.

The Wrestling Federation of India [WFI] observed that a few of the participating wrestlers avoided giving samples for their dope test. It was most unfortunate that the medal winning wrestlers also avoided giving samples and immediately rushed out from the competition venue.
