On the night after the 1993 Royal Rumble event, Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect battled in a loser leaves town match. This momentous match was telecast during the Monday Night Raw episode on January 25, 1993. By virtue of losing this match, Ric Flair stayed away from the WWE for nine long years. During this period, he wrestled in WCW promotion until Vince McMahon bought it in 2001. The match itself was a pretty good one, considering the legacy of the two men involved in it. Mr. Perfect got the pin-fall victory after hitting the Perfect Plex on Ric Flair.
