Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio, Steel Cage match, WWE Smackdown 9/9/2005

Popular Latino superstars Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero battled in a steel cage match on the September 9, 2005 edition of WWE Smackdown held at Atlanta, Georgia. Both these men had been involved in this feud since Wrestlemania 21. Rey Mysterio had the upper hand heading into this match, but things were about to change. Eddie Guerrero emerged as the surprise winner of this match by escaping the cage. But Eddie returned back inside the cage and hit the splash on Rey to gain a pinfall victory. This was the first time that Eddie had beaten Rey in their long running feud.
