The rivalry between the ‘Brahma Bull’ The Rock and the ‘Texas Rattlesnake’ Stone Cold Steve Austin continued as they faced each other for the third time in the grandest stage of them all in Wrestlemania 19. However, unlike their previous two encounters, this wasn’t a match for the championship. The icons of attitude era met in a grudge match which was proposed by The Rock. Since the Rock had failed to beat Austin on both the occasions in the past, he was determined to get that sweet taste of victory over his arch nemesis. The Rock and Stone Cold met in one of the most unforgettable matches at Wrestlemania. The atmosphere was electric and the in-ring action was awesome to watch. Stone Cold hit a rock-bottom on The Rock and the great one retaliated by hitting a Stunner on Austin. The Rock finally defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin, only after delivering three consecutive Rock-bottom’s, to get the pin-fall victory.
