Liverpool plan to sneak in Dejan Lovren from Lyon

Tottenham Hotspur FC v Olympique Lyonnais - UEFA Europa League Round of 32

LONDON, ENGLAND – FEBRUARY 14: Dejan Lovren challenging Emmanuel Adebayour during the UEFA Europa League round of 32 first leg match between Tottenham Hotspur and Olympique Lyonnais at White Hart Lane on February 14, 2013 in London, England.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is contemplating plans to structure a summer move for Lyon Defender Dejan Lovren, according to Daily Mail. The 23-year-old Croatian footballer has also been previously linked with Chelsea and Everton.

Fiorentina has confirmed its intentions of buying Liverpool striker Fabio Bornini, who is out for the season due to a dislocated shoulder he suffered in the Swansea game. However, it’s doubtful whether Anfield will sell. Rodgers had bought him for £10.5 million after formerly having worked with him at Chelsea and Swansea.

Daniele Prade, sporting director for Fiorentina, said – “We like Fabio Borini, but it’s hard to see that Liverpool will let him go.”
