Mumbai Indians suffered their fifth loss of IPL 2024 last night against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The five-time champions managed to take just one wicket while defending a 180-run target against the Rajasthan Royals.

While the bowlers did a decent job for the visitors, the fielders let them down on multiple occasions. On the penultimate delivery of the 17th over, Mohammad Nabi made an uninspiring attempt to stop a shot from Sanju Samson traveling to the boundary rope.

Before that, on the fifth ball of the 13th over bowled by Hardik Pandya, Tim David dropped Samson while running in from the long on region. Also, on the final ball of the sixth over bowled by Nuwan Thushara, a misfield allowed Yashasvi Jaiswal to score a boundary.
