The X-01 Power Armor is one of the marvels of pre-war military technology in the Fallout universe. This advanced suit of armor not only provides unparalleled protection against enemy attacks but also enhances the wearer's strength and agility, making it an invaluable asset in the harsh wasteland.

X-01 Power Armor took a turn in terms of design. Compared to other armor of its era, it has more curves around the ages and a differently shaped helmet with big lenses that make it look alive. The energy consumption and maintenance requirements for X-01 Power Armor can be quite demanding. However, for those who are willing to put in the effort, the X-01 Power Armor is well worth the effort.

While the X-01 Power Armor is undoubtedly one of the Best Power Armor in Fallout 4, whether it is the greatest is a matter of debate. Some players argue that the T-60 Power Armor, which is easier to obtain and maintain, offers a better balance between protection and practicality. But X-01 can be an essential component in one of the best builds in Fallout 4.

However, the X-01 Power Armor's unparalleled defensive capabilities and unique design style are unignorable. For players who prioritize raw power and don't mind the added maintenance and resource costs, the X-01 Power Armor is a clear choice. After all X-01 is seen almost as a legendary entity in the world of Fallout. Finding this power armor is a treacherous job. It is recommended to have at least level 30 characters before trying to search for this armor set. The minimum level from when the armor starts to spawn is level 28.

Nuka-World power plant

According to the lore, the iconic cold drink company in the Fallout universe, Nuka Cola, had received many sets of power armor from the government. Two such can still be found at the Nuka-World power plant. One can be found in the basement beneath an electrical tower and another in the power monitoring station southeast of the plant, behind a terminal-locked door.

Dry Rock Gulch

Dry Rock Gulch is another location in the Nuka World DLC. Here another full set of X-01 can be found near a flatbed truck just outside the parking area.

Fort Hagen hangar

The X-01 Power Armor set in the Fort Hagen hangar can be tricky to acquire. The Power Armour Set is behind a locked safety door in the hangar, but the roaming Rust Devils could sprint past you to enter the armor if you aren’t careful enough.

35 Court

There's another set at the top of the Financial District's 35 Court building. The assaultron and sentry bot that emerge from charge pods with buttons that release the central chamber holding the armor must be destroyed to obtain the suit.

The Quantum X-01 Power Armor is the same as the base armor but with a little more pizzazz. Stats-wise both armors have little to no differences but the Quantum variant features a unique custom paint job that has the same shades as the Nuka Cola bottles found around the map. It even features a Nuka-Cola Quantum logo embossed in metal.

This Armor Set is DLC Exclusive. It can only be found on the first floor of Starport Nuka, in the Galactic Zone. The set is in front of the enormous mainframe computer that manages numerous park operations. There you can find the armour set exhibited on display. Once you have all 35 Star cores from the Star Control quest, you can access this display case from the main terminal.

This is one of the few X-01 armor sets that can appear without any level bar.
