VIDEO: Watch Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer make audacious no-look save in training

The moment Manuel Neuer makes a no-look punch

Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer shows once again why he's – not only one of the best keepers in the world – but one of the most cheeky ones the footballing world has seen. While his team were preparing to face Juventus in the UEFA Champions League in training, Neuer attempts and pulls off an audacious no-look punch of a stray ball heading into the nets.

He's seen getting instructions from one of the Bayern Munich coaches holding a pad with sheets of paper but while Neuer is paying interest in what his coach is saying, he's alerted to an incoming shot and unflinchingly looks away to set up what is one of the cheekiest clearances by a keeper in training.

Manuel Neuer and his Bayern Munich side take on Juventus in the round-of-16 tie of the UEFA Champions League at home. The reverse fixture held two weeks back ended 2-2 at Turin even though Pep Guardiola's men took a 2-0 lead.

Heading into the break, Bayern lead 1-0 thanks to a Thomas Muller strike from the centre of the penalty box. An Arjen Robben wonder goal made it 2-0 before Paulo Dybala and Stefano Sturaro – two second-half substitutes – both scoring to make it 2-2 at the end of full time.

Neuer will be hoping he can keep the Old Lady from scoring at the Allianz Arena and maybe one of those cheeky no-look clearances can all but sweeten the deal as they progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League again.
